The three physical challenges were the arm hang, head stand, and the medicine ball balance. All three tests were done for time. The arm hang was suspending your self from a chin up bar for as long as you can rely solely on your grip strength. Head stand challenge meant supporting your self in an inverted position with the blood rushing to your head for as long as you can. Finally balance was tested with our six pound yellow medicine ball which you had to balance on with only one foot.
For gross out challenges the participants had to deal with Russian roulette, milk shake madness, and the pig snout relay. For Russian roulette we had a six sided die each side corresponded with a type of food (dried white shrimp, fried and dried anchovies, dried and salted squid, preserved century eggs, nori strips soaked in brine, and mustard greens). Roll the dice eat the food, it was great. Milk shake madness, simple really make a milk shake and see who is brave enough to drink it. The milk shake did have a few special ingredients though. The pig snout relay was a team event where you had to pass a boiled pig snout through your line using only a chopstick held in your mouth.
